My spiritual path has taken me in many diverse directions. I was honored to receive siksa initiation from His Divine Grace AC Bhaktivedanta Swami, founder acarya of the International Society for Krsna Consciousness and to receive diksha initiation from His Divine Grace Srila Bhakti Bibudha Bodhayan Maharaja, spiritual successor to His Divine Grace Srila Bhakti Pramode Puri Goswami Maharaj and acarya of the Sri Gopinath Gaudiya Matha. I also received initiation from His Holiness Sri Brahmanada (Dr. Rammurti Mishra), from Swami Muktananda Paramahamsa and others. My teachings and beliefs are not always harmonious with any particular matha or any specific guru or teacher I have studied under and yet they have all inspired me in ways I can not possibly repay. TRANSLATION

The lotus feet of our spiritual master are the only way by which we can attain pure devotional service.

I bow to his lotus feet with great awe and reverence.

By his grace one can cross the ocean of material suffering and obtain the mercy of Krsna.

My only wish is to have my consciousness purified by the words emanating from his lotus mouth.

Attachment to his lotus feet is the perfection that fulfills all desires.

He opens my darkened eyes and fills my heart with transcendental knowledge.

He is my Lord birth after birth. From him ecstatic prema emanates; by him ignorance is destroyed.

The Vedic scriptures sing of his character.

Our spiritual master is the ocean of mercy, the friend of the poor, and the lord and master of the devotees.

O master! Be merciful unto me. Give me the shade of your lotus feet. Your fame is spread all over the three worlds.

In the Srimad Bhagavad Gita Bhagavan Sri Krsna explains to Arjuna how to attain spiritual realization:

"The Supreme Lord is situated in everyone’s heart, O Arjuna, and is directing the wanderings of all living entities, who are seated as on a machine, made of the material energy. O scion of Bharata [O descendant of King Bharata], surrender unto Him utterly.


"By His grace you will attain transcendental peace and the supreme and eternal abode. Thus I have explained to you the most confidential of all knowledge. Deliberate on this fully, and then do what you wish to do. Because you are My very dear friend, I am speaking to you My supreme instruction, the most confidential knowledge of all. Hear this from Me, for it is for your benefit.


"Always think of Me and become My devotee. Worship Me and offer your homage unto Me. Thus you will come to Me without fail. I promise you this because you are My very dear friend. Abandon all varieties of religion and just surrender unto Me. I shall deliver you from all sinful reaction. Do not fear."
